Christy Clark, Special Events
& Projects
As a commentator, talk-show host, and former elected
representative, Christy Clark offers insight into the
intersection of public opinion and public policy. She
is available for special events and projects, including
speaking engagements, commentary on public issues, and
charitable events.
Ms. Clark is host of "The Christy Clark Show"
on CKNW 980AM, BC's most listened to radio station.
She is also a weekly columnist for the Vancouver Province
newspaper, BC's largest circulation daily. Clark is
one of Maclean's Magazine's top 50 national opinion
leaders, offering her comments on the MacLean's website
on the issues of the day.
Clark has worked as a columnist for the Vancouver Sun
and frequently appears on national television as an
election analyst. Last year, she was invited to join
the judging panel adjudicating the annual Jack Webster
Awards, BC's most prestigious awards recognizing excellence
in journalism.
Prior to becoming a commentator and talk-show host,
Ms. Clark spent nine years in provincial politics serving
as British Columbia's Deputy Premier, Minister of Education
and Minister of Children and Family Development.
Ms. Clark studied political science at Simon Fraser
University, French at l'université de la Sorbonne
and religious studies at the University of Edinburgh.
